Wonderful! It's not often I say that, but it was great. Despite (or because of?) not having run for a whole week. Hilly 6 miles in the wind and slight rain, but felt strong and really enjoyed it, and came in a bit faster than the usual time as well.

** Apologies for annoying thread hijack. If anyone fancies joining the stupidly unsuccessful Fetch lottery syndicate (24 members and growing) then fmail me ASAP – last chance (for this period anyhow) **

Rotten run today - still not recovered from the weekend (the 2 huge mountains I went up need more than 1 rest day it seems). Calves & quads ached and I just didn't feel my normal self. The hilly route didn't help. Did a U turn after 15 mins and ran home, so a 10 miler became a 3 miler. Going to do some shorter runs later this week ready for Sun's 10 mile race.

Wonderful day for a run...warm and sunny. After a couple of DNRs, my calf felt up to an easy 6.3 miles today. Went very well. No pain.

Looking after the kids for most of the day. But theyve all gone to see some pirate film so a nice easy 8+miles for me before dinner. And the sun shone too.
