Lovely run in the rain following the Aberdeen 10k on Sunday. Ran without my Ipod, which was very liberating. Don't thing smell fresh in the rain? Just wonderful to be out!

Lovely! My first ever interval session with a club and it was fantastic.
1k, 2k, 1k, 2k, 1k with 2 mins rest in between. 3k warm up either side.

Speed session on the track with club, 4 laps w/up, 400mx12 with half lap recovery, and I managed under 7 min/miling, which is an absolute miracle and first for me, being a long distance plodder!
A VERY happy camper!

Was supposed to be an 7.95 mile club run, but we took a wrong turn and did about 10.5 miles
Good run tho. Picked up my pace towards the end and finished well ahead of the group I started running with.

Tummy hurty - a lot. On a positive note once I overcame the desire to vom the running eased the pain.

DNR - I've developed a tightness, discomfort in my upper left calf and behind my knee. May have been caused by a very aggressive race on a hilly course on Sunday. Regardless, it is reminiscent of symptoms I had prior to a very serious injury, so I am being cautious.

Awful, awful, awful. Had great expectations for today. The sun was shining! Should have been a nice 5 mile tempo, all offroad - nice and quiet. There was even a group of walkers at the beginning and one of them shouted "runner coming through" which was very nice of them. At around halfway, stomach began to "let go" *draws veil over next scene* Walked home. Couldn't even jog because every step was like being punched in the stomach. It's enough to make you swear. I'm usually a morning runner and this was an evening run, so that's where the blame is going to go. Early night, now, because tomorrow is frantically busy.

Didnt feel that great today but went ahead and did 10x400m with a rep starting every 3 mins. All reps completed in 1.22-1.27 so fairly happy with that. With warm up cool down and running to and from track home just over 6 miles.
