Keefy Beefy
Final long run before mararthon in May. 20M. Don't feel worn out physically or mentally, yet the taper begins now. Doesn't feel right.

9.68M. Started 12.30pm after watched marathon to suffer heat in case hot for next week's 10k so doesn't come as complete shock. Forgot sunglasses & lots of pale, fine sand to run through so fairly dazzling. 77mins something 7.58pace.
Calf ok, heat ok, feeling more optimistic. Watching FLM inspired me to consider taking up GFA place next April. I'll get over over it & see sense in time!

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
Will write a fuller report later but suffice it to say many apologies for everyone who lost points on me today. I did manage sub-round hour, to my shame it wasn't sub-4. Wasn't so much the actual heat - altho' it was pretty warm - but the humidity that got me. At least I've just about managed to stop bursting into tears. What a bloody wuss!!!
