Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
mx, a good stone has gone on since that pic was taken sadly. Still, getting a bit of definition back altho' long way to go and not helping myself by eating carp food as well as all the extra fuelling I need for the running.

Brilliant! Out across the fields in the spring sunshine, little lambkins to coo over, cows with calves to fend off, drier conditions than of late underfoot.
Totally, totally satisfying and this is why I run.

As yet undone, but I shall rectify that situation as soon as breakfast has settled.

Shattered! Legs like lead today - went to bed to late following a few glasses of vino - not a good idea and only about 6 hours sleep!

9 miles! My longest run ever, and it was a good one too.

Well done, Rebel
I took my new HRM out with the alarm set at 150bpm, and the wretched thing chirruped like a budgie every time I went faster than walking-pace. But I knew that would happen, which is why I chose a pre-race rest day to try it out

I need to do a heart rate test too. I suspect my max isn't far off the 178 I managed to push it up to at the end of a fast 10-miler on Wednesday, and recorded my RHR as 52 this morning, but if I'm going to use a go-slower wristwatch I might as well use it properly.
It's not coming racing with me tomorrow, but I might invite the Garmin training partner.
