Good news that heart surgeons recommend macaroni pie, since that's what I was planning for tea tonight! I don’t know if he recommended them, but certainly indulged. |

Still on the injury bench! Groin strain/ muscle pull - whatever it is, is not clearing up. I stopped entering events in 2018 (last race Stockport 10) as I was picking up injuries. Decided to reduce mileage to 600 miles PA & I still pick up injuries! |

Frustrating, Tried swimming? Last night 8.30pm OK, it was cold, -2 deg C but almost calm too. Four layers = one too many and I finished wreathed in sweat! Grass gave trails some give but some sand was frozen & rutted - ankle wrenching stuff ![]() |

Stopped open water swimming in October swittle, was getting a tad cold. Will return to it next year - I enjoyed it, but thought this is a pass time not a SAS selection process. No doubt there some Hardy souls still having a dip. Tide times are important, bit silly to go in the dark.
