Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Jono.
Much of the snow had gone from the peninsula, few icy paths around, so ran on the road.

10k not bad, currently missing out on getting a few runs in during the week due to work. Frustrating

I had a short run of 5 km on trails, ising my slightly longer spikes. It was about -10 and part way round I met my SO running the other way. Then I ran past some neighbours. I walked about a km with them, which wasn't such a good idea since I was in shorts, but everything worked out, inluding the longer studs.

I had a fresh supply in the post today in case I equip more shoes. I know you can get them in the UK too. Note that you need a tool and adapter to hold them for insertion.

3.33 miles / 475 feet and not as cold as I feared. Starting to feel a bit more like a runner again

9.45pm, coldest night of 2022 in darkest Scouseland. Prom had a thin layer of sand - fine - and much of the beach was smooth but, further along, ridges of sand had formed, presumably through yesterday's rain freezing. Similar on trails, so my poor old pins were protesting after 62 min. -2 deg C. V light breeze, SSE.

I got a lovely β€œfeels like” temperature of -13Β°C today, and it felt harsh :)
I have a little bug so I settled on a short run.

I imagine it was similar here. I had a rather depressing visit to the doctor at lunch today, so I did a relaxed 5 km, round the harbour and mouth of the river, straight after.
