Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Jono.
Excellent day for a run, sun came out, little bit of a breeze along the river.

Half marathon distance in 2hrs 5 minutes, much better than last months effort.

I think your "long run" was 26.2 miles, your first Marathon! And a v impressive time too. Well raced! :)

Nice running everyone

My marathon yesterday was my first DNF a injury to my left hamstring meant i finished at the start of the last lap. Felt something was wrong around 18 miles or so then at around 22 I had to stop running due to a pain in the left hamstring tried to get running again but couldn’t so decided to call it a day when I finished that lap. Very disappointed but that’s sport I suppose. A really good well organised event and I will be back next year.

Today leg feels good and my legs in general feel like I could go out and run.
Time to take reflect learn and plan for April 22 and my next marathon

Todays run was so cold so so cold then the rain came. I hate winter but every run builds resilience and I’m glad I pushed out the door.

Hope the hammy is ok a tough decision to pull out but rather that than risk a long term injury well done on the 22
