Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Although slow (average 9:19 minute/mile) it felt fantastic :) Absolutely loved the feeling :)

I was going to do an easy aerobic interval run with sprinters (sprinters can't run long intervals fast so it was right up my street). Half a mile warm up followed by 15 minutes of dynamic stretching, strides - we were well set. 1st 400m completed in 80 seconds, calf got tight on the next 300m, unable to run anywhere after that. Bugger.

4.25 miles in the drizzle, two of which were at tempo pace for me. Calves tight as back up running on my forefoot after achilles strain. Prefer cycling now, for sure!

Omg toughest course to run 20 miles with very challenging hills and last 3 miles was just sooo tiring but I am glad to run all the way and kept the pace and my best time ever of 3.23.58 for 20 miles so far got to be happy about that :-)

Life affirming hour or so trog round local moorland with my best mate. Came back with muddy legs and a big grin :-)
