Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Treadmillish. 40mins then my calves felt as if they were starting to cook so I stopped.

I left the house in sunshine, within a mile or so it started raining, then the rain got heavier and heavier. 5 miles, drowned rat run :)

Lay in too long listening to the rain, then decided to go and it was a lovely morning for the first 9 miles, then some heavy rain before the sun came through again

southend 10k. Got rained on, found out how very hilly a sea front can be, then finished in sunshine. Surprisingly pleasant.

Surprising. Cabbage Patch 10 mile road race. Paced friend's daughter round for sub 10 min miles, I'm recovering from an Achilles strain, rain held off and we finished in 1:39. Haven't trained further than 5.5 miles for three months and found the 10 okay. Have been cycling 3 or so times a week and legs are so much stronger. :-)

That sounds really positive Lalli :) - I went further than I intended - ended up doing 14 miles in all, bit tired now!
