Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Run this morning with the doggas over the golf course. About 3 and a half miles, plenty of loo stops for Reggie boy. Good time had by all ;)

Lovely (if slightly damp) 5 miles this evening, leaving the cares of the world behind me and letting my legs take me wherever they wanted.

Nothing spectacular but I'm satisfied. First parkrun of the comeback. Actually the first real "effort" run of the comeback of any kind. Averaged 7.35/mile or so and didn't fade much so that's good, and I'd said before the start that 23-24 minutes was about what I expected and 23.24 is what I got.

I don't think I could have gone any faster today but I know I will before the end of the summer.

Weird - I ran the long way to the gym & normally do it in 1 hr 35 something to 1 hour 1:36 something - I was lethargic & felt heavy when I set off plus there were loads of people in the way on the cliff path so lots of weaving about, plus I wore the Saucony 'brick' shoes which I normally plod & thud slowly in ...... but I managed to do it in 1 hour 34 & a half mins go figure????

The human body is an odd machine, WD. Well done though.

9 miles this morning before it got too hot, I thought. Too late! It was scorchio out there, not that I'm complaining after the winter and spring we've had.

7am, round the site of the first modern Olympics, the Acropolis, then fuck knows what because I got lost! Went a bit further than planned and it was already very hot, but a great start to the day (which just happens to me Triboy's and my 12th anniversary).
