Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Went over the golf course this morning with my two beasties. Just done slow 3 miles as they not been running with me for a while. Found a "secret" bmx course in the bushes. Went different way along a small path, turned left, looked up and thought what the *uck? It was mud hills, some with bits of carpet on, wood ramps going up about 150 yards or so. Ran up top around the side of it, then down over the humps, then there seems to be another bit of a path round the woods. FAB! Back home then as Reggie stout boy was getting a bit knackered. Good time had by all. Happy Friday people! :)

Brilliant! I'm on holiday in Morayshire, so I had 2 hours of running on pine-needle covered springy trails, over streams and in and out of forest canopy. My favourite type of running. V happy squirrel. :)

I really didn't want to go out for the run... it was only a two mile run. But I am glad I went.

Out just after 6 on a dry, breezy morning. My several achy bits decided to have a day off and this sped me through Blundellsands, beating even the milk float! At the coastguards', I dropped onto the beach and thanked the ebbing tide for firm sand but not for the stranded jellyfish :( Took grassy, sandy trails to Waterloo, stopping to fuss Boots [boxer] and Sam, the three-legged dog before crossing the footbridge and bringing up 50 minutes across the park.

And that's how my run was, and why :)

Kiboshed by work in the afternoon when it was dry and almost sunny.

Accomplished in the rain just before it got dark and with my belly full of roast beef butties.

I'd forgotten how much I like running in the rain :)

Really very nice :) - 4.5 miles first thing with running buddy - the rain held off, the sun occasionally shone, we chatted but then finished with an exhilarating 4 minute sprint race - which I won ;)

Way too windy, and it wasn't me!! I nearly turned round at one point to stop running into the wind when it had ground me to a walk. I even struggled to walk into the wind! Persevered, and got blown most of the way home for a not bad time after all.
