Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Tonight's run was entirely on the Long Mynd (Shropshire Hills) The Anarchist road runners club run. It started steep up, followed by steep down. The rain had made the grass a bit slippery, especially if you have no tread left on your fell shoes, and I went A over T a few times. Followed by steep up, etc, etc, cracking run, cracking company and a cracking pint after :-)

All was going well and I lost concentration with few minutes to go in the 10km run and fell like a sack of potatoes :-0 but I am ok with just a few bruises and my dignity still in tact lol;-)

Brilliant- a 3 m plod in the drizzle but this is the first day in 2 months where I have been able to run without pain since doing my ankle during an ill conceived interval session in flat shoes on a lumpy road.
Wanted to keep going but didn't want to overcook it- all being well I'll be out tomorrow in the same state.

Forgot to post last night but I managed 4.3 miles at 10 minute mile pace! Further and quicker than anything since being allowed off the leash again. :-)
