Love 3+ mile bimble on the fields, along the cycle paths and down the street. Gorgeous sunshine and quite hot!

Perfect. Lovely warm sunny still day (I love running when it's like this), - tempo run: 10 mins w/up, 5k in 20:00 (target hit and not a near death effort to make it), 10 mins cool down and a lovely stretch in the sun.
Also recently refreshed the Ipod so new choons as well, bit of Gary Numan and OMD for the run.
If only every run was like this

Back to normal. Cold, wet, windy, dark ... and laborious.

Today's run was a follow on from last nights. My legs were really cold with a steep descent to start, my kit was bouncing all over the place. Then it got better. The sun was rising beautifully over the hills, it was cracking, and the pace for me was reasonable

After Wed night in Shoreditch drinking and last night having a takeaway curry tonight was a touch of a struggle. But got the 6.5 miles done. 7.5 Sun.

I ran up our church steps (a little more than 100); then down the hill. 6 times! Very hard but certainly invigorating. I'm rubbish at hills so hopefully a few more sessions like this will sort me out. I'm off to Nuuk tomorrow and will hopefully get some runs in out there, but it's a bit weird because they only have in-town roads (no inter-town connecting roads) so I' m not sure to where I'll run. Maybe out to the airport and back (probably - at about 3k - the longest road in the country!)
