Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

today was extra hilly and extra windy. Just hard work battering into a headwind up steep hills on open country, Then, just as we were getting near the finish, the dog decides to roll in some lovely fox poo, FFS! I think she did it hoping not to get in the car after the run. Luckily it wasn't far,, but she wasn't so happy being washed down before I let her in the house!

Lovely to get out for 4+ miles in the sunshine with no real plan. Now I'm not on a schedule, I just set off and did what i felt like. Ran the first 3 miles really well then ran out of oomph. Perhaps I'm not as recovered and full of beans as I thought I was, hehe.

The run was excellent - steady pace 5k along the seafront.

...the calf pain afterwards wasn't so nice though! Hoping it isn't shin splints.

Spooky. There was a big yellow fireball and blue stuff overhead all the way round. Wassallatabout?

I had someone else's legs and they'll have to fight me if they want them back. Over 80s/mile faster than my last run, and it felt very easy. Maybe I'm solar-powered :)

Easier than expected. Marathon legs not as bad as I thought they would be.

out from Church Stretton on the Long Mynd with the tuesday night gang, steady pace, sociable, cracking weather, sunset, brilliant, then we drank the pub dry :-)

First time I've gone farther than 7 miles on an evening run - 10.23 miles and it felt really good. Ran with clubmate who's same pace as me and we had a good old chat. Freezing cold wind, though, my hands were numb!
