Hills at 6am. It was dark and windy and it rained. And it was as rubbish as it sounds. Not particularly injured, though, which is good.

7 miles of hill works for me .... Felt ok throughout although 5th or 6th lap over hill a little taxing.

Back to my normal 8.xx miles / 1hr again, my first run since Loch Ness 6 days ago. Calves are tight but not sure if that's to do with the fact my shoes are completely shot and have zero cushioning left in them (new pair ordered 2 days ago but company hasn't bothered to post them yet even though they were apparently in stock)

Good brisk run this morning, just under 7 miles. Really good running first thing on a cool & clear morning. Found a different route to try which was enjoyable, gonna look for a race (HM poss)for the New Year - anyone know any good ones in Cheshire/Merseyside??

An epic 21-miler on the path to Rutland Water marathon. Just a 22-miler next weekend and then it's taper time!

Very pleasant 12.5m round Mersea island: beautiful still sunny morning. Did bruise my ribs going A*** over T**, though.

a nice half marathon around the royal parks this morning. Very glad I did it as I wasn't going to do it 2 weeks ago due to lack of training. Good kick in the arse to get me out running more often, when life isn't in the way.
