Today is a day when it is impossible to enjoy running, it was cold, wet and breezy. IT is, however, a day when you can feel ultra smug when you get home having run 13.34miles in such miserable circumstances whilst others are curled up in bed. That's how I feel

Just under 19 miles in light rain/drizzle and a bit of wind. Ran with my marathon buddy and it was hard work from mile 13 but she's such good company and we've got the fuelling spot on, so loved it!

snowing when I started, windy, then rain, then stopped, short shower, sunny all in anout 5-6C, 10 miles in 1:27, so quite good, perhaps should have gone further, but a good run nonetheless

That man from March
Wet - Frostbite League race at Huntingdon. Did not want to run as I did 13+ yesterday and today was supposed to be a rest day but ran as I thought our team was short of runners but when I got to the start there was two more than we needed but still ran as I was already wet from walking to the start. Looking forward to a rest tomorrow.

MM is spot on. 9.6 miles in the cold, wind and sleet. Time wasn't too bad for me though. The hot bath and poached eggs afterwards were amazing

Essex 20-cold and rainey. Felt vry good up until hte last 3 miles when it was, well, just very hard work, really.

did a fell race and absolutely loved it! after an atrocious race last weekend i felt ready to pack it all in. thankfully todays race was one of those that reminded me of why i love to run

finally a run since i injured my knee somehow.
It was a good run...lacking energy as I hadn't eaten for 6 hours so i couldn't go far. BUt it was a good tester to see if my knee could handle a run.

I ran 26.5 miles this morning. It went something like this:
1-3 miles: Oooh it's colder and wetter than I thought, still it's nice out here at 7.30am, I must get up really early more often. 4-7 miles: Well, this is just a pile of poo, isn't it? I'm not feeling it today, maybe I should go home? 8 miles: And now it's raining. Deep joy. 9-14 miles: Oh yes, this rocks! There is nowhere else in the world I would rather be right now. I love you rain! I love you trees! This is bloody brilliant! 14-19 miles: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 paces. Repeat. Apparently this works for Paula Radcliffe. 1,2,3,4... ooh look another runner! Oh bugger, lost count. 1,2,3... 19-21 miles: WHICH IDIOT PLANNED A MARATHON ROUTE WITH ALL THE BIG HILLS AT THE END?? Oh, it was me. Oops. 21 miles: That looks like our car... it is our car... is that coffee? I love my husband, he is my absolute hero. Really. 21-22 miles: caffeine, caffeine caffeine. Oh yeah. This is just a stroll in the park, just a few more miles, nothing tough in that. 22-26 miles: I.will.not.stop. Even though it really hurts quite a lot now. 26-26.5 miles: OMG I am so nearly there. OMG I am really, actually going to make it. Can I go a bit faster? Yep, tiny bit. That snail over there isn't going to beat me after all. 26.5 miles - sofa: There are no words. Feed me. Oh dear, is that smell really me?
