Fantastic. Set out on something like 8 miles, felt so good I thought I'd chuck in a snap half mara distance. Pretty reassured by the results, in order of importance, I kept going, didn't collapse, didn't drop the pace too much into the wind on the way back, and felt good at the finish.

Folksworth 15 for me today. Very happy with my time given the hills and the wind. I was worried going into today, but coped really well.

Benfleet 15 very windy but, strangely, not so muddy this year.

First (almost) 20 mile run. Wind was villianous, sun came out, it hurt and felt great in almost equal measure. Listened to most of the first book of the Two Towers and smiled at a lot of other runners. Did something really hard and feel proud of myself.
Just had to get that off my chest

Lovely and exhilarating. Stanbury Splash fell race, full of mud, short steep climbs and descents, twisty moorland trods, sploshy river crossings, all against the most gorgeous if rather windy landscape. Brilliant

Benfleet for me too, first attempt at 15 miles, wind was very hard to deal with... disappointed at lack of mud lol
