Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Run yesterday was good, but felt wierd forcing myself to go slower. Why is nobody out and about on gorgeous summer evenings, apart from people queuing up at Unlucky Fried Kitten? Queuing out of the door if you please! there's nothing more guaranteed to make you feel healthy than running past that.

Good. 15.46miles in 2hrs 7mins 43 secs. Bless the Garmin! All off road. And on my run I saw sheep, pigs, piglets, rabbits, deer & only 2 people ( 1 in the distance doing piggy stuff & one runner in the distance near the end of the run who turmed & fled when he saw me approaching)

Lurvly one today. I mean, I was slow, my hr is way higher than it usually would be at that pace, but somebody told me about a foot path running along the river Wandle which I'd not known about despite living here for a year (duh) and oh boy is it nicer than my usual routes here?

Not too bad today, the sun wouldn't leave me alone so it was quite hot. I took my camel back with me to add a bit of weight, but that just got really anoying as it kept on splashing around as well as making it harder.

Great run today, lovely up here in Edinburgh this morning. 15.5 miles mostly off road, last 4 miles in 25 minutes, and no knee pain. :)

Good run again today. Only 7 miles at MP, as I did my long run yesterday. It's just great to be able to be ticking off all the sessions on the marathon schedule.

Great tempo run in the sun, temperature was perfect. Just over 5 miles in total, 3 miles at tempo pace.

My highest ever monthly total, 64 miles, and only 2 short of my total mileage for 2005.

Had a great run, the weather was nice and cool but did turn a bit humid part way around. Ran by a canal for most of the way, so good bird life around. Albeit one or two too many cyclists on a narrow tow path, but I forgave them. Legs bit sore now but it was a 25 miler so they deserve to be. Now a bit of rest and recovery before I race at Boddington.

Really enjoyed teh run today. 15.1 miles along the Monsall Trail in Derrbyshire. Some if it a bit clogged with ramblers/cyclists etc (3 miles) rest of it fine. Managed to do it nice and slow; longest time spent on feet so far :-)
