Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Didn't happen. Friday night racing at Newmarket followed by Ronan Keating live. on balance would have preferred the run.

Haven't been yet, but just about to go out.

Suddenly had a thought - I don't want to do my long run tomorrow in the rain (even though it's an embarrassingly short long run of 10 miles, as it is a step-back week) and if I do have to run in the rain, I would prefer to run shorter and faster, so I am going to swap Saturday and Sunday around. Today is Sunday.

Good - made a 10% improvement on my 12 minute treadmill test of 8 weeks ago, and my heart rate peaked 5bpm lower too :-)

Great run today. Glad I did the 10 miles in the sun today rather than in the rain tomorrow. Heart rate averaged 139, so quite an easy run really.

Help!!!! I've just been outside and the sky appears to be falling in. All this watery stuff is falling all over the place.

Good on you Toks, spread the word :-).

I did 10 miles yesterday and didn't find it embarassing :-)

I've got my long run tomorrow; should be doing 15-6 miles so a bit a rain would be nice actually :-)

I didn't find my 10 miles embarassing. Just embarassing that I should call it a 'long run' and that's not meant to infer that it's not a long run for anybody else. Just going to dig myself a 'deep hole' - 3 inches deep :-)
