Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Aahh, that's why your daily run to work is missing from the "who's been training" logs ! I use that run of yours as a barometer of normality, like the birds will wake me up singing at 5am, like Is will write a blog today, like Max will never quite catch Gobi in the postings...
Rest up, have a few pimpoms and get yourself better SB

Sorry to hear you're suffering with the knee again SB. As Danny says, rest up and get yourself better and try to keep your chin up :-).

My run was lovely today BTW, did a LSR 10 miler with Heidi on the High Peak Trail. :-)

thanks for kind thoughts everyone, i shall endeavour to make the most of my rest time....
Going to a jazz festival tomoro, this is lead up to start of Edinburgh festival, there's a big mardi gras parade then lots of jazz bands playing in the street, taking a few bottles of sparkly and jumping in and out of random pubs, should be fun! edinburgh is gearing up big time, every morning there's another marquee appears on a green spot...

I'm in total sympathy with you Santa I was out on the bike this morning and my knee went, I had to pedal home with one leg which isn't an easy feat I can tell you.
Hope you mend soon. Just take advantage of the situation and rest it in the sun with a nice cold drink.

sounds like a plan Santa. Get a bag of frozen peas strapped to that knee then have someone bring you cold drinks when required.
