Haven't gone today, but yesterday's was shocking. Returning to a hot hotel in crewe is always going to take the edge of a running experience.

HARD.
I did 25k on the rowing machine when I finished my shift at the gym today, then cycled home and went straight out for a 5 mile run. It was still quite warm when I ran at 4:00pm and with tired legs from the rowing, it certainly was a struggle.
Now I've got to work out when I can do my 7 mile run tomorrow. I am working at one gym from 9:00am until 1:00pm and at my normal gym from 2:30pm until 10:30pm. It looks as if I will have to do my run at 6:00am, but I think my legs might still be tired then. I could always make tomorrow a rest day instead of Friday.

Was actually quite nice running today. Temperature was down a few degrees, while humidity was up. I found that I can cope with hot and muggy better than very hot and baking dry.
I was going out in the hope that I would finally make it onto page 20 of the league. Got back entered the mileage and someone else had gone running in the meantime - top of page 21, still not made it to 20. I've got a few more runs left to finally make it before dropping back down again while on holiday.

I really struggled. I feel like my leg muscles have "pinged back" on themselves and I can only stretch them out half their usual length. Still, I completed my 4m...

Not done a thing today. Still recovering from the shame of yesterday. Having felt proud of myself for managing 9 miles last week, make a complete a*se of myself at club. Dropped out dripping in sweat, cramping, banging head.. Moral of the tale, don't run on a hot evening unless you're well hydrated. Will go to club with bag on my head so nobody recognises me next week!

excuses, excuses, excuses..... I planned to run 5 miles but we have a thunder and lightening storm, love the rain but not the bangs and flashes, staying safely indoors, anyway I feel extraordinarily tired as not sleeping well and v v busy/stressed at work, also have my 5 mile race on Friday so think I need to conserve energy for then.........excuses, excuses, excuses.....

Cr*p. Never felt so ill in my life - and yes I had hydrated well, but still couldn't cope with the heat. Thinking of moving to Iceland.
