Hohum
A cracker using my new Walsh Spirit Peak. bit of a new route finder as well investigating a path. Lots of Forestry going on at the mo, so quite tough going through some of the forestry. Cattle feeders along the footpaths making going a quagmire in places and having to 'shoo' cattle out of the way. Quite a few people about, ramblers, dog walkers, farmers. The day got clearer and hotter as the run did.

Lovely 10 mile circular trail run navigating with map and compass, stunning scenery and a refreshing change after the autumn marathons.

An hour of my life that I will never get back. But an hour THAT dull feels like three hours, so I win

3 and a bit miles in the dark. Well street lights, yes, but fairly dark. May pluck up the courage to go out with my head torch soon so I can carry on running the nicer routes round here.

Kiboshed by paperwork. Serves me right for complaining about yesterday's run!
