Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Long (for me). And slow (in anyone's terms). But the Right Thing to do.

Really chilly for today's early morining run, which was planned to be recovery but turned into a general run. Perhaps due to muscle memory from last night the run felt very easy and totally effortless. Most probably my best training run for many months.

Boring Stats - 5.5 miles in 46:34 minutes at an average of 8:28 minutes/mile

Mile Splits - 8:47, 8:40, 8:35, 8:15, 8:20

Long 12.5 miler with new trainers so bounced along like Tigger! A repeat of that pace on GNR day will bring me home under 1.55.

Cracking, in the rain, round and across Newbold Comyn golf course. Not many golfers about. Couple of chavs walking there staffy. Went over big style in first mile, did eff and jeff a bit, sat down rubbed ankle and carried on, so obviously not as bad as it felt. :-)
