Lovely 4miles. Hardpacked snow in places which was fab to run on but also lots of icy bits, not so fab to run on. Magnificent views across the snow covered fells this morning too

hard slog 5 miles just after waking up...very tired, very muddy. Just 3 miles togo tomorrow to ensure I scrape 100 for December, and 1550 for 2009...being off work is tough when you find yourself running every day - just realised I went from 20 odd a week at start of month to nearly 40 - no wonder I'm aching a bit!

An absolute cracker, up onto bury ditches and round the far side, stunning views over the snow covered Shropshire Hills until the clag came down. Wet snow, mud & ice. Feet got cold about 6 mile mark, then warmed up once down in the valley. Only saw one other person once out of the village & only saw a few foot prints, totally mint!

Not been today. Bit scared after only managing 6 miles of a 10 miler yesterday in pouring, freezing cold rain. Got home and my entire body was bright red and completly numb

1 pleasant mile followed by 4.2 painful ones. Slush up to my ankles. Considering going again later.
