Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It was an odd race for me as I'd decided to run despite my left ankle still being a bit dodgy. Which meant I took it very easy on the starting straight, meaning I was last by about 20m after a few hundred metres. So it was like missing the start and having to catch up !! Then 10k of hard running on generally ok underfoot conditions followed by a jog on the finishing straight hoping not to get caught by the runner I'd passed on the last hill.

Still easing myself back into this running lark so a steady 4 miles. Thankfully no flooded roads this morning and only a bit of rain and hail. Made a pretty good time (for me) too.

Cracking nine miles in rain, wind, sunshine and hail. Good preparation for Luton marathon in two weeks.
