Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I should be feeling great. Well of course I do. I have run my half + route in under two hours. Went out this morning after 6am with another beautiful spring morning being promised. There was however a thin crispy frost. Yet again it was there. how can I not run in this weather. Not much traffic around today. Ran in the roads and service roads up to Ruislip. Up the High street along the path at Sharps Lane then up the hill back to Long Lane. Pavements to the A40. Actually saw three runners along Swakeleys Road. Along the A40 and down Oxford road. The usual route really. Big difference was though from the Robbie Bell bridge I upped my tempo as I worked out that I was on for a PB. So the first 9/10 miles was OK but the rest i decided had to be faster. I reached Nicholls Ave knowing I had about 14 minutes to get home. It was close. I needn't have worried I got to the library with about 3half minutes to go. I was goiung to do it.
the perfect run. perfect speed and perfect weather.
