Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Aawwwwwful. Getting back after a bit of enforced non-running, which might be part of the cause. So a fairly leisurely tramp around town of about 9 1/2 km.

But lordy I felt bad. Tight, nearly-crampy legs felt like they were made entirely of knuckles. I even had to turn back after about 10 mins and give up on my current shoes in favour of old ones 'cos of pain on the top of my foot.

Felt better by the last km or so, though, so maybe that's something to be happy with. (Perversely, I get a kick out of the bad runs anyway.)

got 2/3 of the way round my 11 mile loop and came across a compound of diggers and trucks going blocking the trail.Ok -they have been building a new road for a new industrail estate but i thought this was a public footpath. Annoyed, i looked for an alternative way but there wasnt one really-they have fenced it all of!!. Well i'm not turning back so i just climbed the fooking fence past the diggers and over the fence at the other side. I could see the secruity guard reading his newspaper in the cabin, no doubt the guard dog was asleep by his side dreaming of cats.I will pop back soon on my bike and see what he hell is going on.

Good run. hardly used my head torch as the full moon was so bright. On the beach the moonlight reflected on the water making it almost daylight. Fun.

I bit nasty aksherly. 5.8 in 45 mins. Felt sore like going fast, but pace was slow and a bit carp. Sooo... not good. But nice to be out, chat with club mates and try and get my lazy ar*e moving. So I s'pose it was good from that point of view.
