Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

just got back from a great run, my first long run since December(2 hours or more I consider a long one).

wanted to go relativly steady, i'm trying to run slower to prepare for the 10 in 10 don't want to burn myself out by going too quickly in the first few days. i did almost 15 miles & my right knee is a tad sore but nothing new there.

refreshing to run in daylight :)

Ofsted coming in on Tuesday, so went for a half marathon run on a hilly course. (Road) Best time in the last few years has been Eyam with 1:34:34 ish. Completed this afternoon in 1:36:50!!!!! Didn't race it but kept my breathing to a bit above steady. Wish I'd been racing today. Wish I knew why you have some really good training sessions and then I'd be able to bottle it. Haven't raced a flat course for years. Can't get into the race quick enough. Brass Monkey in York fills up 5 mins after it comes on the tinternet! Wish they'd go back to entry forms.
Ah well. Need to look for a flattish one sometime next year. Trying to go under 1:30 at the young age of 56.
Best time was just under 1:25 somewhere around 1996

very pleasant. Needed to get out this morning because I've been up all night with a sick little girl. She's a little better this morning, snuggled on the sofa watching DVDs now, so I was glad when auntie Cathryn dragged herself out of bed to babysit for an hour.

Its such a lovely, sunny day. Ran fairly fast, just to make sure I wasn't more than the hour I said I'd be. Feel much better for the fresh air and now I shall watch Disney with my precious little one.
