My run today felt fab, I thought I was fast and bouncy and went very far and everything. I didn't plan a route, just went with the flow. When I got home I measured it out and it wasn't so fast after all....but I'm still happyish with it.

6 miles of leaden-legged sloggery. Then something clicked and the next 4 miles were much better, if not significantly faster

lovely, comfy 4 and a half miles in the dark. Had a horrible bug that knocked me out, spent tues evening and wed morning shivering and sweating. Luckily I always shake things off quickly, all the same, was careful today because I ran on tuesday before I realised how ill I was and it did NOT help.....
Pronbably go easy for the next day or so though, just to make sure its out of my system. That's the problem when you've got sprogs isn't it, you simply don't have the time to be ill.

Dark and raining. After four days running in a row, I wimped out (ahem, had a rest day) and went to tesco instead to buy beer.
