Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I did a 7 miler with the club, watching out for low flying fireworks !!!
one of the guys from our club who ran with a group doing a longer distance had "something" thrown at his legs.
Why do people do things like that to runners...total brats :~((

Intervals...they rock :-)

Warm-up Mile 1: 9:12 (nice and easy peasy - feeling strong)

Rep 1: 4:17 (steady start, feeling strong)
Rep 2: 4:10 (bang on... )
Rep 3: 4:04 (weee...I'm cooking now)
Rep 4: 4:03 (my god, somebody stop me)
Rep 5: 4:05 (still going strong but starting to feel it a little)
Rep 6: 4:09 (having to focus a little harder now and feeling a blister develop)
Rep 7: 4:08 (blister p1$$ing me off and having to focus hard)
Rep 8: 4:00 (weee...must have been last interval madness)

Warm-down Mile 1: 8:24 (feeling effortless and slow)
Warm-down Mile 2: 8:24 (a little tired now and looking forward to good stretch)
