Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Awful, don't do a hardish club run the day after intervals.

Oh and if the schedule says 'Rest' maybe you should, erm, rest.

A lesson I think.

Club run around Pocklington (5.85 miles in 47 mins).

Started slowly as I was feeling tired and fatigued but decided to pick-up the pace after around 1.5 miles to see how I'd cope and was surprised when I passed all the medium paced runners in around 5 minutes. I was running on my own for the last 2.5 miles which I found a real mental strain mainly due to the fact that I felt tired and the voices in my head were saying to me...stop, slow down and generally trying to make me stop running...still I managed to ignore them and crack on so I'm very pleased. :-)

Looking at the time I ran tonight it's going to be close as to whether I actually run a sub 45 10K on Sunday!

Multiterrainer, welcome :)

I read your "33 mins" as "33 miles" and almost fell off my chair.

3.7 mile tempo run at 6:30 min/mile pace.

Was pretty full on but the more of these I do, the easier it's getting to live in that uncomfortable zone. Still WAY off form but hopefully on the right track to improving my speed

After a rather careless hard track session last night 3x1200m and 3X400m I took part in a 5.6 mile cross county this afternoon. Left calf felt tight but came through unscathed in 39.14 (7.04 a mile pace). I really should be more careful this close to a marathon during "taper".
