Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Long, and slightly less slow than it should have been, but I didn't become extinct :)

Couldn't resist looping round my old stomping-grounds of Aston, Handsworth and Lozells to get some street-buzz - got lots of nice comments from people one might assume would be culturally predisposed to be offended by a woman running around in public wearing a very small amount of close-fitting clothing :)

10k - felt absolutely rubish after 10 mins and nearly turned round. Persisted, though, said hello to the llama (which we all must do) and dodged sheep for a few miles. Raiend towards the end but all in all one in the bank!

Great 10k race for the Kirkstall 10K. :)
Finished 7th in 36:58. 28 seconds short of my PB, but on a course with some very long hills. Very chuffed with my efforts.
Scumma managed nearly 30 seconds off last weeks time for a sub 48 minute PB.

To be blogged in a bit :)

Too fast for someone tapering. 10km in 1:02:56. Running with a mate/rival though, so I needed to beat him over both the 10k and hour. Managed both. Now he'll go off and run a sub 60 10k this weekend, whicle I'll still be plodding around Newcastle in 2:30!

Nothing untoward, jude :) - I just got overwhelmed by a feeling of Can't Be Bothered With This - so went and filled my face with Food, and I'll run later :)

Steady XC run around Newmillerdam. Did 2 laps totalling 8.23 miles at 7:22 mm's. Was planned to do a 3rd lap but thighs were struggling after yesterdays race so stopped after an hour. Got to wear my new trail shoes for the 1st time :)
