Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good, went out for a family dinner last night, too much beer and wine, fillet steak and more beer and wine, so I made an extra effort this morning, 10.50 miles trail and road. Now I'm watching RUGBY and drinking more beer, still who cares I'm never going to be selected for London 2012 anyway.

4 mile easy run then a 5 mile mainly off road and hilly race and then a 5 mile jog back home. Total 14 miles with the middle 5 mile section in sub 36 mins. The final 5 at 9 min mile pace.

A really pleasant 16 miles over undulating to hilly trail/road. Ran around Derwent Reservoir in The Peak District. Loved it! :-)

Dreadful. Went for an urban LSR (10 miles). My footpain kept coming back so I had to keep stopping. Didn't enjoy it at all, spent most of the time planning to name and shame my physio for his dishonesty and incompitance - but I will reflect before I do so.

I was really looking forward to this run as well.

Great race at East Retford, knocked over 5 minutes off my HM PB (1:32:03 by my watch) so feeling really good about Amsterdam in 4 weeks.

Even got to see the legendary Mick & Phil in action. Mick was still smiling coming up the last hill at 12m as I drove away.
