Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

slow recovery run of 5.4 miles after long run yesterday of 21.6miles. Felt ok!, just a bit fragile after all the wine last night. Most unlike me as i rarely drink, just the urge coming over me.

Well done everyone - good runs.

I did my first 'slow' long run this morning, having previously been in the camp of marathon pace long runners.

Did 20.6m - ran 6.2m to Richmond Park, then two laps with Kath, Caterpillar and Greg. Total 3hr 2 mins. Stunning weather, evil f*cking hills and legs in good shape at the end. I normally can't walk after my twenty milers!

Very happy Fetchie. Time for a lazy afternoon and undoing the good work by drinking nice cold coronas!

Splendid! Did my first marathon. Hard work but I got through in 3:53:06. Don't feel too bad for it either (though at the time if you asked me to do another km, I would have broken down crying ;o)
