10 miles, better than I expected. Can't believe that I don't have so much as a niggle from yesterday. I must be becoming immune to the destructive effects of cold showers

Was planning a rest day but I am going to get out for an hour's run. Been a crazy day for my divorce and house sale, head's spinning and the alternatives are: get bladdered and forget about it all, kick the cat or go for a run to get things in perspective.
As I have no cat and a 'no beer until after my October marathon' vow which I am not ready to renege on (yet), a run it is....

Toks....does (((((((Rick)))))) mean that you gave me a hug? If so thanks very much it was lovely. I checked the glossary and couldn't see what it meant. (I'm a newbie, humor me)...or hug me again.
Lovely run today, fuelled by the news that I've got a spot in the NY marathon all courtesy of Children with Leukaemia. (Thanks chaps)
Interval trg...56 mins...6.15 miles consisting 12* sprints of 0.25 miles each. Bliddy lovely.
Am hoping to get out tonight as well (depends on my chore list). Plus trying to blag a flight/ hotel in NYC.

Congratulations on the NY placing. There are a bunch of Fetchies going over and there's a thread, too, somewhere. It's a great marathon, amazing crowds and a good way to see New York (!)
