Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Undecided. Hurt my hip/back last night
Stayed up too late, drank too much wine, feel like shite.

However, only need to do 3 miles today and I will have passed my 2006 total and running might make me feel better?

3 miles is probably worth the risk, Dio. Unless your hip/back really hurts.

Mine was 13.5K on heavy legs after last night's 10K.

Thanks Keef, I was always going to do it I think, couldn't resist with that target so clearly in sight.
3.5 miles, felt ok, cleared head and the running doesn't aggravate the hip, (sitting and driving does)
AVG HR 67% and no slower than normal. Worryingly, I think I am getting to the stage where I'm starting to believe that if I don't run my legs will seize up permanently

I ran 1.18 kilometres in 10 minutes at lunch time on the treadmill. No pain or anything. Did some leg raises too. :-)

I'm really hoping so Keefy. I'm doing a VERY steady club run tonight so we'll see. *fingers crossed* :-)
