Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Quite a short one today, only 4.75 miles(ish) :-). Was mean't to be recceing the Weasdale Fell race route (in the Howgills) with Lucky but when we got there it was very wet and miserable and I didn't feel like doing it *wimp that I am* so we started driving home and instead decided to stop off in Keswick on the way and try and find the round Latrigg Fell route instead.

Enjoyed the run and felt really good in the leg department (especially as I was in my new 3/4 length lycra) and was even running better then Lucky (shome mistake surely ;-) ) We did take a wrong turn at one point (went right instead of left) but still got back to the car OK.

The first was an off-road 5k and the second was a comfortable 9.5-miler and I enjoyed both of them. Haven't had a horrible grind-it-out run for ages ... (fingers crossed!)

Nice 6am run this morning. Just iver 7 miles, average pace of 6:43 mm. Did the 1st mile in 07:28, and average pace for last 6 miles was 6:36mm so very happy with that. May have run faster if it wasnt for the slight stitch I got after 1.5 miles.

Bit wet. Auntie Mabel stayed at home so I had to pace myself. Think she needs a new battery, she reckons yesterday's long run didn't get me above 82 bpm.
