Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Terrible!

Set off for my weekly 7 km temporun birght and sparkly. Sun shining, air cool, lovely for a hard run... Only to find that my legs felt like lead and I could barely keep my arms up even! Terrible effort, ran about half a min/km slower than I should have done throughout the session, getting worried I am getting ill or something. Did find my period started during the run when I got home, so maybe that was the cause? :-(

Should I run or not this lunchtime?

Reasons to run
- I like it
- I does me good to get out at lunchtime

Reasons not to
- I was aching after yesterday's run
- I am theoretically cutting back before a 10k on Sunday
- I could get more work done

Thoughts?

Unexpectedly tarmac-shredding :) set out hoping to be 30s/mile or thereabouts faster than the 10mm pace of the last two days, and rolled out a tempo run at 8.09mm pace. I have no idea where THAT came from - there must have been whiz-juice in the coffee I had at the Snowdome this morning.

6.5 miles in the early evening Cardiff heat ....bring back the wind and rain, I say!

just under 45 mins

That sub-40 10k seems a distant hope right now.
