Mandymoo... ditto! I've a long way to go - probably at least 3 stone to loose and really needed a swift kick up the pants to actually make changes instead of keep saying "I will" blah blah...
My pledge this week was to get a walk in at lunchtime each day, and drink more water than coffee or tea
That's it
I cant really do huge changes as I seem to have an inner rebel that sacks it in after a couple of weeks - so small changes is a good way for me...

I've got 3 stone to lose too. And your last sentence up there ^^^ FRU is exactly what I do. I'm pleased with 2 dry days this week and 2 days a couple of glasses. I've upped the running, reduced the snacking. Got a bit of a big weekend but will fit some exercise in and regroup on Sunday.

If there is a beginner running group near you might be worth joining fru to get your confidence back. Sounding excellent progress so far, I read somewhere it takes a few weeks to break a habit - keep going x

When I moved back to the south 11years ago (can’t believe it’s that long). I did join Framingham flyers for their starter course. I’d been tuning them for something like 10ish years but it was bloody ace. A lot to be said for going bavk to basics I learnt loads
Well. I’m feeling much more positive this end of the week
Today’s walk was great, warm sun, high tide meant I dipped my feet in the sea as I braved my first beach walk and I really appreciated 40mins in the open air looking around and forgetting normal silly stresses of work
Water going well
Booze... I managed to be pretty good this week, not last night and not tonight but I was in full creative flow last night getting stuff done for jewellery stuff and tonight it’s f*ck it Friday. I realise of course that’s one if the challenges to broach. All in good time
This week I’ve walked something like 15miles... I would not have done anything like that normally
My running is still crap, I did manage three two milers but to be honest the walking is a massive positive so that’s great
Food been more organised.. tick
My stress levels much better, sleep a bit wonky donkey but I have been waking up earlier which means the lesser spotted “morning run”.may have a chance of return?

3mile fun today.... chilled out, didn’t go for anything but being out there.. well chuffed!
Oh and someone mentioned a fancy pen for the fancy notebook. I used the reward for star of month thing to get a fountain pen & brown ink... so the notebooks going proper posh!
