Only cost us £1.30 for the 4 nights as we don’t use much really (fridge, a few lights, and boil a couple of kettles a day), but at other sites I’ve seen people set up whole covered areas with a microwave, large fridge, inside and outside etc! On reflection, I think the Snowdonia system was fair for the reason you mention, as we just paid for what we used. But yes, toilets and showers a must for us too. Anyway, we’re off to Isle of Wight this weekend

It’s not like they provide the canvas or set it up for you and they’ve already rented you the pitch space anyway. Although I suppose if that awning is then filled with microwaves and huge TVs etc it might be a way to reclaim some of the electricity costs!! 🤣
