Does anyone bother with 5K races anymore - i.e. ones that aren parkruns?

They also do races in Edinburgh and both locations have numerous races during the year. Unless circumstances have changed (it was a few years ago and a one-off), entry was cheap, no chip timing and medals are only given to the first handful of finishers.

It's run by a local Running Club and some of the proceeds go to the Woodlands Trust. It's only £6 a race but it's probably the only 5 k I'd be happy to pay to do.
