Do we have a thread for 2015 yet? I'll be setting my target to 1000 just after midnight as I'm working tonight. May 2015 be a runtastic year for us all. Happy New Year Everybody. |

Steady as she goes
Thanks to Martyn for organising the thread and congratulations to everyone who took part. Though it ended with 2 weeks off running through bad foot, 2014 was by far my best ever year running, and this thread (even if I was often only lurking) made a huge contribution.

You're welcome SASG and congrats on your best ever running year. I hope your foot gets better very soon and hope you can join us on the 2015 thread that is already up and running (excuse the bad pun!). Happy New Year! |

More mulled wine, Vicar?
Just popping in (in case anyone's still watching this thread) to say So long and thanks for all the fish, 1000 milers. I tried valiantly, but ended up with a mere 807 miles, and it doesn't look like a 3 week layoff from running has healed my achilles, cos as soon as I ran again this morning, it is niggling. Hence I've set my target for 2015 to 500 miles, cos I reckon I can manage that on 3x40 minute runs per week. Have fun, you lot. You never know - if I am miraculously healed, I may be back! |

Rev, I enjoyed your posts and so sorry you are still struggling with injury. Bearing in mind how much you have been injured 807 is a great total. Good luck with your target this year and please pop in to the 1,000 thread to say hi!
