ChrisU Worked fairly hard to get 37min something, but just drifted over my target. Reached the top of Laggan Hill in 4th place but dropped 3 places after the halfway point, so ended up 7th overall. Debstir Watch time. Slowest time for this race yet, slowest time for any 10k in a long time. Seem to be going backwards speed-wise just now. Saying that, it was pretty muddy and slippy thanks to the copious amounts of rain beforehand! Unaffiliated 48:30 51:03 57:12 53.58

SooWoo blimey that first 3km was hard work but the route was enjoyable even though I probably should have pushed myself harder in the second half. Probably didn't need to wear them, but did run in my new-ish fell shoes so I could break them in a bit more. Pipe band playing us into finish area and whisky and baseball hat in goody back, good event! Wee County Harriers 45:29 50:37 54:00 53:39 58.21
