Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

anne23 Went great! Hot but not too windy. Nice course, although a bit difficult to get past people at the start. Would definitely do it again.

The Outlaw Elmbridge 10K. Fast start, ran well to midway. Overtook Iain at around 7K then started to tire. I knew that if I beat him I would be guarantedd the Surrey road Race V50 title so I hung on, suffering but maintaining good pace, until 9.5k when my legs gave way and I was unable to continue. The stewards insisted I had treatment in ambulance. After 20 minute break, resumed the race and finished in just under an hour! Splits: 1K @ 3:30, 2K @ 7:10, 5K @ 18:30, 8K @30:00. Despite all, I did in fact win the league, because Iain came in 3rd V50 - he needed to win both this race and next month's final race to take the title!
