Caterpillar This is early in the year for me. I usually train seriously in the sweltering summer and run my best in September. It would be a bit silly to bet on me. I'm treating this as a training run. *****RACE REPORT***** Er, I don't quite know how to say this but it was a mahooosive PB. 1:28:56 Garmin time. I expect the official chip time won't be more than a second different. Total surprise to me. Especially as there was a bu99er of a hill at miles 6 and 7. After that it didn't exactly flaten out or go down again. How can you have a course that is only UP and ends at the same altitude as the start? The only excuses I can make are that I had my biggest training mileage month ever last month, a totally run-free week last week and it was a nice hot day. Liliaicha Fantastic race! Who knew Bracknell had hills! Felt great up till about mile 11, when I relented and walked for 1min - felt much better for that, but hip flexor really sore by then (it kicked in at about mile 6).
