Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I'm due a review

Been tired again - but is that marathon training?
Sore joints, forgetfulness, and now the sore tongue

I've just had another blood test and dr visit next week. I have been getting tired too, but suspect it's my marathon training as the cause.

Regarding the tongue thing...I did think before starting on thyroxine that sometimes my tongue didn't seem to fit in my mouth and I got teeth marks on the edges....that sounds weird! Not sore though.

It is hard to tell if you are tired from unbalanced thyroid stuff or marathon training I reckon. Can you be tested, to be on the safe side?

I am still very much and very slowly recovering from Lyme disease :) I also get those periods of being set back a little again, for no good reason. Well, the only reason I can think of is the cyclical nature of the spirochete...

I am being tested for pernicious anemia... V-rap is a doctor, as is Hipps, but she is a specialist consultant... Then again, they both know about general medecine :)

With me they thought I had fibromligiea for a very long time , then a German doctor wanted more test done and I had a ultra sound and some radiation put in me to get a reading on my thyroid as all my bloods showed ok but one my thyroid antiy bodies were very high hitting 1000 and over at one time .my thyroid is large . But after taking Levothyroxine 100mcg for 8 mounts all my fibro systems started to go away , I still feel stiff in the am but I do some light stretching in bed before I get up and then take my Meds my hair is getting thicker again and my skin is getting better .i have my bloods checked every 3 months as my antiy bodies are still at 889 so might have the thyroid in the end taken out . I'm just happy I'm feeling so much better , and I'm know allowed to re join the reserves I can go back to my unit phew .

Thank you Monty I hope you are feeling better too.
