The last 10 shitty days was topped off nicely when I showed up for an interview, to find out that on the panel there was a woman who used to be my junior, but got promoted past me and promoted again. That's on top of her knowing that I interviewed for a job I'd done before and got turned down. So I felt the size of an ant, and totally humiliated.

So if I make it to the end of the week without developing a drug habit and not smoking crack in the corner of my office to get through the day, that's a small victory.

(((Cuddly))) hopefully you've managed to avoid the cake

I need to get my head together and lose some weight, it just keeps going up. I'm sure I'm in perimenopause which is making it harder, too much emotional eating and maybe wayward hormones are making me hang onto weight, who knows.

I'm going to stick a recent photo here too, to remind myself to focus on this.



Appalling expression too, I look like I tasted something nasty.

Small Victory: I did not sleep at all last night due to insomnia, but I did not have a night binge as I nearly always do. I had six Jaffa cakes but that's nothing compared to what I normally get through on a night binge.

I did a SP (speed and protein.)week from SW and from last Friday work scales to today work scales - weigh in day tomorrow at club.. - 4lbs :-)

Pity it seems to be the 4lb I put on last week so hopefully another week of it although it is hard as I am missing certain foods will see a further loss.
