Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Have just bought some More Mile Chevoits at a silly price (£25.00) Will be v interested to see how they go in the mud at the weekend by comparison to Mudclaws etc @ 3x the price.

Oxford league cross-country tomorrow - Culham (Round II)

Just over 3 miles for us under 15 boys so will be interesting to see how I cope with that last half a mile.

The course will be slightly muddy with sharp inclines here and there; it's horses for courses but I know that the course should suit me.

Anyone else got any races planned over the weekend?

Surrey Ladies XC this morning at Nonsuch - alright but I prefer the more hilly courses as I run better on those. Anyway did alright and was second for the club so that's good.

Will have to see the results to find out how we did as a team because its too busy to know really!

Good luck tomorrow Callum! Are you going for a win?

Second Bham XC league fixture done. Better than last time. Steady start and only had one bad patch. Hopefully achilles is ok this week and I can start getting some decent training in.

Yep, ours are always saturday too. I prefer it too as I can get out on my bike on the Sunday.

Birmingham D3 men and us ladies were at Burbage common, near Hinckley. I know it isn't particularly cold at the moment, but I was the coldest I've ever been today I think. Had a good run, despite the muddy slush. It was the standing around after that made me feel funny....

I like the XC being on Sat too, I like my Sunday long runs
