Nice first finish Larkim, never managed one of those. By the way, question for all. If you have 13miles with 8 at MP, when would you do the 8? |

I really like a proper cool down so would stick it in the middle

I'd do the last eight if I had a choice but would expect experts to tell me to do 2.5 warm up and cool down to wrap around the eight.

I'd go 4m warmup/ 8@mp with a mile at the end just to loosen the legs off for the next run Building the miles again here with 2 40's followed by 2 50m weeks since i rested after Stirling. Got a sports massage on monday which seems to have livened up the legs.. 43weeks to go, better get out for an mp run |

CW - what plan are you folllowing ? The book/website/etc should explain how to do each of the sessions in the plan. eg if P&D, then it's on page 140 ( 2nd edition )

Well done parkrunners and that's a super run on the lairig ghru Cam! Was thinking of it today when I was out and can't believe how much life has changed in a year! parkrun for me yesterday - 21.50ish I think at Falkirk - 10 seconds slower than my with ICD/ A.D PB but I had done a circuit class at the gym at 8am pre-parkrun. I definitely think I could get close to sub 21 on a flat course.... might visit some other parkruns once I've got my driving license back |
