Hard lines Hodge Podge. Though I do notice that you ran a 5K PB at parkrun the previous day :-) so it is hardly surprising. Do one or the other, I reckon. I also notice that you are not logging your races under your training? So your "public" figures aren't really reflecting the distance you are running.

Calf is recovering but not ready to run on again yet. Will have to decidewhat to do about the Bupa 10k next weekend although I don't think it will be a sub-50 performance!

BUPA 10km for me also next week but I think I must have put a 50+ time when I entered as I don't think I am in a sub 50 pen. Will see how it goes especially after a marathon last weekend.

I just added the Vaynol 10k race to my portfolio - new target race for a sub-50 10k. I wanted to do the Rhostryfan at the beginning of the month but I was struggling with hayfever returning from the continent. It took me three weeks to settle back into a proper running routine. Now I'm all set for the DD, a 32 mile ultra on June 4, but after that I want to tick that sub50 box. I hope that the whole marathon training will pay off.

Hodge Podge - when you add your training one of the types is Running - Race - I put my races down as that as well as marking them off in the Race page too.

39:11 at the Sale 5 Miler today - needed to prove to myself what I can do on a flat course with fewer people to weave around. Based on that, I reckon I've got an excellent chance of going sub 50 at the City of Manchester 10km in July.

Garmin says 49.57 for me at BUPA 10km. Hoping the chip time agrees. Found it quite tough running at that pace two weeks post marathon but hopefully job done. :)

Thanks Sprouty, judging from that 5 mile time you should have this target cracked soon. :)
